What MOON WhatsApp API is
A service for companies that want to use the WhatsApp Business Platform, Meta's official API, without dealing with the technical side. You get a dashboard for messages, contacts and templates, and a REST API for your app, store or CRM.
Messages go out from your number, over Meta's infrastructure. We don't use unofficial connections such as WhatsApp Web.

Questions about the WhatsApp Business API
The official WhatsApp option for companies that send messages at volume or from applications. Messages go out through Meta, with no phone connected. It's also called the WhatsApp Business Platform or Cloud API.
Yes. If you don't have one, you create it right in the number connection window. For high message limits, Meta may ask to verify your company.
Usually not. A number connected to the API stops working in the regular app. We recommend a dedicated number.

No. Only to people who gave their consent. You save the consent on the contact, with its source, and we don't let marketing messages go to anyone who hasn't given it.
