MOON ChatCookie policy

This is an English translation provided for convenience. MOON Chat is provided by FELIX ONLINE CONCEPT SRL, a company registered in Romania, and Romanian law applies. If this version and the Romanian version differ, the Romanian version prevails.
1. Two categories, treated differently
On this website we use two kinds of files saved in the browser: strictly necessary ones, without which the pages don't work, and marketing and statistics ones, which are turned on only if you click “Accept” in the banner. Strictly necessary files can't be refused, because the website doesn't work without them. Your choice (Accept or Refuse) is kept in the mc_cc cookie for 180 days. Marketing and statistics files can be refused at any time, with no consequences.
2. What the chat widget saves
The widget installed on our clients' websites uses the browser's local storage (localStorage), not tracking cookies:

This data stays in the visitor's browser and can be deleted at any time from the browser settings, together with the website's data.
3. The admin dashboard
The dashboard uses a strictly necessary cookie for sign-in. If the user checks "keep me signed in", the cookie lasts 30 days; otherwise, it expires when the browser is closed. Without it, sign-in doesn't work.
4. Marketing and statistics cookies
We promote ourselves through paid ads, and to know which campaign brings results we use the measurement tools of the platforms where we advertise. These load only after you click “Accept”:

If you refuse or don't choose, Meta, TikTok and OpenAI don't load. Google Analytics and Google Ads load in Consent Mode: until you accept, they receive only anonymous signals, with no cookies and no identifiers. The website's own statistics (page visits) use no cookies and don't identify you. You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer.
5. What we don't do
- We don't sell browsing data and we don't make it available to third parties other than those listed above.
- We don't use the content of conversations with the chatbot to target ads.
- We don't track visitors to our clients' websites for our own advertising purposes.
6. Our clients' obligation
The client who installs the widget on their own website is responsible for informing visitors and for the consent mechanism on their website, in line with applicable law. The local storage used by the widget is necessary for the chat to work, but we recommend mentioning it in the website's cookie policy.
7. Browser controls
You can withdraw your consent to marketing cookies at any time, from the website's consent banner or by deleting the website's data from your browser. Every browser lets you block or delete cookies from its privacy settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones means the chat window will no longer remember the conversation from one page to the next.
