Data deletion

1. What gets deleted

At your request we delete, for all businesses that use MOON Chat or only for the one you name:

• the messages you sent and the chatbot's replies;
• your identifier on Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp or Telegram;
• the name, phone number and email you left in the conversation.

The business you wrote to may separately keep data it has already taken over (for example, in an order or an invoice), in line with its legal obligations. For that data, contact the business directly.

2. How to send the request

Write to us at contact@moonchat.ro with the subject "Data deletion" and include:

• the channel: Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram or website;
• the business (page, account or website) you wrote to;
• for WhatsApp: the phone number you wrote from; for Messenger, Instagram or Telegram: your profile name and, if you know it, the approximate date of the conversation.

We may ask for extra confirmation to make sure the data is yours.

3. How long it takes

We confirm receipt within 3 business days at most and complete the deletion within 30 days at most. We send you the confirmation by email.

4. Removing access from your Facebook account

If you authorized the "MOON Chat" app from your Facebook account (for example, as a page admin), you can remove it under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites. Removing it stops the app's access; to delete data already saved, also send the request described in section 2.
