It knows your whole catalog
Full sync
Through your platform's API or your product feed. Every sync updates the catalog summary: total products, how many are available, and which brands and categories you carry.
Tested on 10,000 products
On our test catalog, a full sync takes 1.3 seconds and finding a product takes under 10 milliseconds.
Any product feed
The same file you already give to Google Merchant, Meta and TikTok, in XML, CSV or TSV. Large files are fine, and a button shows you in advance how many products MOON Chat finds in the feed.
No feed? We read the catalog from your site
If your platform has no feed or API, MOON Chat can pull the catalog straight from your store's public pages. It also works on OpenCart, Magento, MerchantPro or custom-built stores.
Messy feeds, fixed on import
Duplicate products, prices written in different formats and links with campaign parameters are cleaned up automatically on import.
Finds typos too
The customer gets a letter wrong in the product name and MOON Chat still finds it. You don't lose a sale over a typo.
It answers like a salesperson who knows the stock
Streaming replies
The first word shows up in 0.7 to 1.1 seconds, and the rest of the reply appears as it's written, like talking to a person.
Asks before it recommends
When a request is vague, like "I'm looking for a gift", it first asks one question based on your store's categories, then recommends.
Short and to the point
Replies of two or three sentences, clear and easy to read on a phone.
Sells with confidence
When asked "is this product any good?", it answers like a salesperson who knows the stock. But it doesn't invent star ratings, reviews or "best seller" claims.
Doesn't lose sales by mistake
If a product isn't among the ones picked for a reply, MOON Chat won't tell the customer you don't have it.
Doesn't swap what was asked for
If the customer wants a mattress and you don't sell one, they won't get blankets presented as mattresses. MOON Chat tells them so and asks for a contact, so you can follow up.
Remembers the conversation
The conversation is kept for 12 hours, even if the customer moves to another page. If they left before the reply, MOON Chat picks the question back up when they return.
Correct Romanian
It writes grammatically correct Romanian, down to small details like how numbers agree with nouns. Prices are copied exactly, with no rounding.
Understands voice messages
The customer taps the microphone and says what they need. MOON Chat understands the message and replies. You can also have the reply read out loud in a natural Romanian voice. Plus, Pro, Qualification and Reception include 500 voice messages a month. On Start and Contact, voice messages are paid per use.

Product cards in the chat
Products show up with photo, name, price and a button to their page, each one only once per conversation. The order is completed in your store's checkout, where you already have vouchers, shipping and payment.
Orders from the chat
See which orders came in after a conversation with MOON Chat and what they're worth. Orders are matched by phone or email, and only orders placed after the conversation count.
Lead capture
MOON Chat picks up the phone number, email and first name wherever the customer wrote them in the conversation. You can export them to CSV, along with the conversation and the pages they visited.
Your own questions, saved on the lead
Whatever you want to know before you get in touch: the VIN for car parts, budget and timeline for services, the city for a clinic. It asks naturally, one per message, and the answers become new columns in your leads table, in the CSV, in emails and in your CRM.
Live order status
Order number, date, status, total and courier tracking number, straight from your store, on Gomag (a popular Romanian e-commerce platform), WooCommerce and Shopify. MOON Chat only looks up an order when the customer asks about it.
Live stock checks
Sometimes a feed shows a sold-out product as available. That's why, before it shows the cards, MOON Chat checks stock on the page of each recommended product. Sold-out products are no longer suggested.
Owner check
An order number alone won't open someone else's order. If the customer gave a phone number or email, it has to match. The address is never given out, whoever asks.

Features you turn on with one checkbox
Upselling
You write which products go together, and MOON Chat suggests one extra product once per conversation, after the customer has decided. It doesn't do this when the customer has a complaint.
Review requests
Add your Google or Trustpilot link. MOON Chat asks for a review once, after a conversation that ended well, as a button under the message. Your stats show how many requests went out and how many clicks they got.
Rules written with AI
A button reads your website pages and suggests rules for shipping, returns, warranty and products. You read them and decide which ones stay.
Your data and your customers' data, protected
A chat widget is connected to your store, so we built it with protections from day one.

What it doesn't do
So you know from the start what you're getting, here's what MOON Chat doesn't do.
It doesn't take the whole order in the chat
It recommends, checks stock live and sends the customer to the product. Payment and shipping stay in your store's checkout, where everything already works.
It doesn't confirm part compatibility
For car parts stores, if the catalog has no compatibility data, MOON Chat asks for the year and engine and sends you the conversation, without promising the part fits.
It doesn't make up order status
If your platform doesn't give access to orders, MOON Chat asks the customer for contact details so a teammate can reply.
